Life Group

A life group is generally made up of 12-16 individuals who meet together to study God's Word one day a week with continued communication throughout the week.

Home Group

Group generally made up of 6-12 individuals (plus kids) who meet together to know + grow together in community off-campus.

Baptism Team

These volunteers are responsible for preparing baptism rooms, serving families in baptistery + cleaning up post-baptism.


A Dgroup is a gender-specific, closed group of 3-5 believers who meet together for the purpose of accelerated spiritual transformation.

Food Pantry
Wednesday 5p - 6p Thursday 11a - 11a

Serve in the stocking, organizing, and distributing of supplies in the food pantry.

First Experience

Provides a great first experience to in-person guests at our Welcome Center + Connection Center. Answer questions. Distribute materials. Serve coffee + snacks. Hold signs in parking lot.

Engage with online viewers during worship services to help them feel welcome and connected to our Donelson First community!

Worship Team

Help create dynamic, life-changing experiences and atmospheres during worship! Whether serving in the band, on the praise team, or with our tech team, there's a place for you.

Safety Team

One of the first faces that assists in providing a safe, secure campus.

Haven House + Mission House

Prep and clean houses for missionaries and families in need to ensure they feel at home.

Join us as we teach little treasures through Bible stories, music + games!

Donelson First Students

Do you love to talk or simply have the ability to listen? Do you enjoy laughing and getting slightly crazy? Serving with our students would be a great fit for you!

Homeless Ministry

Serve homeless men in our community by providing rides, shelter, meals, laundry services and a devotional on Monday nights (November-March).

Food and personal care items are needed, including canned goods, pasta, cereal, peanut butter, dried fruits, jelly, baby formula, baby food, coffee, tea, personal care items (shampoos, soaps, etc.)

Drop off can occur anytime the church is open. Or, if you need to drop items off at a time the church is not opened, contact the church at thefamily@donelsonfamily.org, and we will coordinate a time for drop-off or a pick up at an off-site location.
